20-Minutes- What interventions are needed and Issues surrounding them.

  • -Discipline and Behavior
  • -In school suspension
  • -Attendance - Supported by admin (building and district)
  • -Homework completion Apathy and denial
  • -Failure rates

20-Minutes -Solutions to issues post.
  • -Reinstate STRICT policy/ISS (hire supervisor)
  • -Plato for remediation NOT credit recovery - Tutoring/intervention kicks in
  • -Consistancy among team members and admin. Communication from admin. Also supported study halls
  • -study halls to be "labs" for extra help
  • -Policies -- stick to them
  • -Reinstate attendance policy with enforced consequences and intervention
  • -Apathy for completing school work
